Social Entrepreneurship Programme

Social entrepreneurs have been described as people who bring innovative business solutions to the most pressing issues and problems affecting society. For us, they represent a key segment of our work.

Our Social Entrepreneurship Programme was established to address market failure issues and inefficiencies in social economy business start-ups, specifically their access to business support.

Core to our work in this programme is promoting sustainable models of finance, and providing capability support to help establish and develop businesses, especially those with the potential to grow.

For more information on the Social Entrepreneurship Programme II please contact audreymurray@lecomwbp.com or 028 2826 9973.

Exploring Enterprise 2 Programme

Exploring Enterprise2 Programme is a pre-start programme which will support activities to extend the employment opportunities of unemployed, long-term unemployed and inactive people by helping them to enter, remain and make progress in sustained employment. There will be a focus on people with disabilities and health conditions, lone parents, older workers, young people not in education, employment or training, women and people with low or no qualifications.  Ultimately, EEP2 is designed to fill a gap in the provision of enterprise support by addressing the needs of people who are not yet ready to progress to self-employment and operates as a mechanism to develop a latent pool of entrepreneurship talent within NI’s most deprived communities / groups.
