To date our business development programmes have catered to the tourism, food, farming and craft sectors of industry, but we can respond to any sector in which the need for training arises. We also train across different groupings within the local community, for example women, youth, the unemployed, the third age (45+) the rural community and schools. The Agency also works with Community Development groups on capacity building empowerment programmes. Some training subjects are topical and we have run one-off training workshops in, amongst other things, health and safety, franchising, employment legislation and VAT. We are conscious too of the need to constantly update training in computing and information technology and can well meet this demand with the facilities in our computer suite.
